This website is a personal, non-commercial site. It does not use cookies, it does not ask you to log in, and it does not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
Analytics
To get a rough idea of how many people read these pages, the site loads Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. For each page view Umami records:
- the page you visited and the referring site, if any;
- your approximate country, derived from your IP address;
- your browser, operating system, device type and screen size.
Your IP address is used only to derive the country and is not stored. No cookies or similar identifiers are placed on your device, and no data is collected that would let me identify you personally. The analytics data is aggregated and visible only to me.
Analytics requests are sent to Umami’s hosted service, which acts as data processor. See the Umami privacy policy for details.
Legal basis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): my legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate, how this site is used.
Opting out
The analytics script honours the browser’s Do Not Track setting: if you have it enabled, no data is sent. Any content blocker (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, Brave Shields and similar) will also stop the script from loading.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect connection data, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes; see the GitHub Privacy Statement.
